If you are no familiar with Lauren's story, then you must read this. This young lady fought cancer, but never gave up her dream of playing basketball. I watched the game she played in. it was a brief appearance in a college game, and she played it ins a very weakened stage of cancer. Let us no only mourn her passing, but also celebrate the courage that she taught all of us to have. Sports are fleeting, but no one will forget her zest for life and undying courage. R.I.P Lauren. You are a star in the purest sense.
