Some time back I posted this picture of the Opera House that once upon a time graced the streets of my hometown and added a slice of culture to the rough and tumble hard rock mining camp.
Well, one can add some culture to the rough and tough, but the mixture of the two makes for an exciting concoction. During one of the performances, a policeman tried to keep a patron of the arts from smoking during the show. The fine, cultured? patron went outside with the office and promptly shot him.
I guess that they took their smoker's rights very seriously in those days.
Also, not to be outdone, the opera house also served as the Shoshone County Court House until the new one was constructed. Now, I ask you, isn't that a little bit redundant, a courtroom drama and a dramatic show or opera? Kind of the same thing sometimes, right? Just kidding, Mr. Kelso.

Cedar: I believe that history shows that you are 100% correct...regardless of what Mr. Kelso has to say on the subject. For Example: "If the glove don't fit, you must acquit"; pretty much every one of Gerry Spence's and Clarence Darrow's trials and on and on.
TV trials are definitely a show. I am not sure that they serve justice.
I was looking at this picture of the opera house and thinking that knowing Wallace, the 3r floor of the house was probably one of Wallace's patented other kind of "house".
