Friday Musings-Fires and Smoke

It is a great day for us who are on oxygen 24/7. I cannot even see out of the window this morning because it is so smokey outside from all of the Washington fires. It looks like I will be staying inside all day today.

Fortunately, we have never repeated the great fries of 1910. I have read various accounts over the years about that great tragedy, and I cannot imagine the feelings of utter horror and helplessness that those early day Valley residents must gave been feeling. Here are a few photos from that era from the University of Idaho Digital Library.
