Thank you Mr. Snyder. The NLF franchises are privately owned businesses, and they have the right, yes, the right to call their business what they want to. If you are offended by the Washington Redskins, don’t watch them or follow them. Case closed.

Cedar: I saw one comment posted on Facebook that stated that the owner had agreed to change the name of the football team by deleting 'Washington'. Ha!
That was very funny. How about Peta's idea? They said keep the name "Redskins" but change the logo to a red potato. That way no one would be offended.
