The Bank of Wallace was located where the current Rossi Building stands. The bank was burned to the ground in the fire, but, yes, your money was safe because the vault survived. Not to lose a penny of business, the bank reopened in a tent right next to the surviving vault. It took more than a little old fire to stop the commerce of Wallace.
