Double Jeapordy

Here is the question of the day. If you perform an autopsy on an alligator, will it keep the gator from attacking again? That seem to be the conclusion drawn by one writer, and I quote:

"The alligator will be killed so authorities can perform a necropsy, which is common procedure to make sure the animal won't attack again."

This after an alligator bit off the arm of an 84 year old woman in Florida. I thought that killing the animal was sufficient to keep it from attacking again, but I was wrong. So, remember, if you ever have to kill an animal that attacks you, but sure and do a necropsy so that it can't attack anyone else.
Maybe doing autopsies on executed humans would keep them from murdering again,
