A Connecticut man had just purchased a sandwich when he was shot in the groin and leg. This was a real problem, because now this man had to make an important choice. Should he eat the sandwich, or should he go to the hospital..I cannot tell you for sure the exact thought process that must have transpired in his brain, but I can tell you this. The sandwich won.
After going home and eating his sandwich, the hungry man asked his father to take him to the hospital. There he was treated for his wounds, and neither one was found to be life threatening. He was released, but the sandwich did not survive.

Cedar: 'Not life threatening' is the key. The only possible deviation from reasonable conduct was the detour to his 'home' before eating. Of course he may have lived close by, not had a car, and knew he could get a ride from home. I have to wonder about why someone from the place where he was shot did not take him to obtain care...or perhaps the police. As you can see, this is a way complicated situation...much more information is needed. Ha.
Holy beef sandwhich, GF, I guess a good attorney can smell a case a mile away! I will try to get more details.Geeesh
