Playland Pier and Childhood Fourth of July Pleasures

Ah, those carefree days from childhood when the Fourth of July was a big deal, almost as big as Christmas.  Our family Fourth of July days were almost always spent on one of two places, Cave Lake, and the old cabins that we rented, or on CDA Lake and Playland Pier, now long gone.
