Yes, I just got off of the phone with my grandson, Tai, and am delighted to announce that he was selected for an eight and nine year old baseball all star team for Seattle. They are practicing all winter , and will play in tournaments in Arizona in March.. The kid is a natural. I was playing catch with him when he was only 1 year old. Of course, he is a huge Mariner fan, and has been going to games since he was born.
Ah, a grandfather can only dream Maybe he will be a major leaguer some day. and will pass a long a few of his millions to his old grandpa. Tai, I am so proud of you. I wish I could say that he gets his ability from me, but alas, it has more of a chance that it came from my older brother.
