Feeling Groovy

"Slow down, you move too fast, you've got to make the morning lastJust kickin' down the cobble-stones, lookin' for fun and feelin' groovyFeeling groovyHello lamp-post, what's cha knowing, I've come to watch your flowers growin'Ain't cha got no rhymes for me, do-it-do-do, feelin' groovyFeeling groovyI've got no deeds to do, no promises to keepI'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleepLet the morning time drop all its petals on meLife I love you, all is groovy "

Where is everybody going in such a hurry? I sometimes think that everyone else must have a more important life than I do. Where are all the cars going? Why does someone come barreling past me on the freeway only to make a quick turn at the next exit? Why do the drivers in CDA play "let's run the red light" game?

In Seattle drivers put the foot to the pedal to get 20 feet more to the next stop sign. Why? So that they can stop again. Why hurry to the store? Slow down, you move to fast. Here is the philosophy that I live.

"The past is dead, the future is imaginary, my happiness is in the eternal here and now"

Wow, I am starting to feel groovy again!

Cedar: Sorry, I'm in too much of a hurry to read your post. I am sure it is very interesting.

I was forced into a feelin groovy mood yesterday and today. I got blindsided by a head cold that has put me to bed and out of commission. Which isn't always a bad thing. Hope all this rest gets me back on my feet!!

GF, yep, I know what you mean, I was in a hurry, too, and that is why this blog is so short.

SVG, hope you are feeling better, some of the cold medicine will make you feel groovy.
