Wallace Football Team Folds! Players Revolt Against Practice

Ha, got you. But, it is the truth, the only difference is that the year was 1909, November 15th.  Herre is the article from the Spokane Daily Chronicle on 11/15/1909.

The Wallace high school football team has disbanded after meeting with many discouragements from the members of the squad, the main one being the refusal to turn out for practice. The Mullan high school eleven recently disorganized,also.
