I am not one to idolize athletes actors, statesmen, etc, but for one, and that man was Ali. I can still picture my dad, my brother, and I sitting around the radio and listening with racing hearts as a young, brash, fighter, dubbed the Louisville Lip, dethroned the bear, Sonny Liston.
Ali transcended sports and life. I am so saddened as a part of my childhood dies, too, and I have no more words to say but RIP Champ.
