Today was the perfect day to go to down to Fernan Lake. While we used to go down to see the ducks, geese, beaver, and a few deer , we have recently discovered a great treat, Two bald eagles are living there, and today we were privileged to see one swoop down to the lake, grab his prey, and take off again with one giant shot out of the water.
What is it about the eagle that is so awe inspiring? I can only marvel at their power, their unreal eye sight, their ability to soar above all. Watching an eagle certainly reinforces my belief in a Divine Creator. Watching eagles fly is a deeply spiritual experience. (no, I didn't take this picture) Wish that I had.
