The FLA and other bunk Policies

http://jobs.aol.com/articles/2011/06/16/wife-gets-cancer-husband-gets-fired/?icid=maing-grid7|main5|dl3|sec1_lnk2|71003

This link will tell a sad story about a man who was fired from his job for requesting an adjusted schedule so that he could care for his dying wife who has stage 4 lung cancer . FLA only applies to companies with 50 or more employees. I say that there should be no polices unless they apply to everyone and every company. My heart goes out to this man and his wife. According to the article, they have no legal recourse. This is a sad indictment  against policy and our selfish money is god mentality in this country.

I was going to do another Bronx post today, but this kind of injustice just frosts me.

Cedar: You only have to look about to see similar situations here. Problem is that the local bird cage floors won't report it.
