Yes, Virginia, There Was A 4th of July Parade in Wallace in the old days.

 When I was growing up Wallace,there was not a 4th of July celebration in town. We always took off to Coeur D' Alene,Spokane, or Cave Lake,but, at one time, Wallace, too, held big 4th celebrations, Here are a few pictures from those parades from the University of Idaho Digital Collection.
