My wife and I were in a fast food place the other day, and when I went to pay the cashier, she quoted a total that was lower than the she had first indicated. I told here that she had under charged me. She smiled and said, " I put in the senior discount" As I walked numbly to our table, muttering in my beard, my wife said," Wasn't that sweet of her to give you the discount?"
Well, that was too much for me to handle. I went on a ten minute tirade about that young whipper snapper working the counter, and did she really think that I looked like a senior, and I had just looked in the mirror, and I most certainly did not look like a senior to me. How dare she assume that I was a senior!

Now I hereby certify and swear under oath that this is not a picture of me, but it makes my point. Do we ever see ourselves, both inside and out, the way others see us?
