The article says the mill burned down and rebuilt in Wallace. Was that the Hercules Mill? Was it still running when you lived in Wallace? Did it run 24/7 grinding ore, moving trains, etc.? Was it noisy? Now, other than the freeway, you can hear a pin drop in Wallace at night.
