Cruel and Unusual Punishment

Idaho State playing the tradition rich and powerful Nebraska Cornhuskers?

Final score-Nebraska-----73
                   Idaho State---- 7

Was the $600,000 paid to Idaho State worth it? Looks like a form of slavery to me. The school gets the money for the athletic programs, and the kids get, well, they get the butt kicking of their lives. What a deal!

Yep, and how about U of Idaho v. LSU = 63-14. Shades of the good ol days when the Vandals played the likes of Houston...something like 77-7. Idaho schools can't make their football budgets so they throw their athletes to the 'wolves' (similar to Akey's comment--no offense to red-headed step children-- "no offense intended to the wolves"). ISU and U of I should play in the Big Sky, face the fact that 'blue chip' athletes are not going to go to Moscow and Pocatello, renew old rivalries, stay within budget, and keep their athletes healthy.

Yes, Idaho played Houston two years in a row n the late sixties. It was brutal.
The Vandals were once the kings of the Big Sky, and could be again. Idaho State, well, enough said. College football is too much like prostitution now.
