Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life

One of the best analogies that I have read suggests that we look at thoughts like they were a banquet lined up with the most delicious assortments of good food. At this banquet it is within your power to pick and choose whatever delicious morsels that you desire.

Many of the entrees are packed full of nutrition that will help your body and mind to be healthy and satisfied for a full life. Some of the dishes are beautifully adorned with and immediately draw our attention because they are delightful to the eye and oh so good to the taste buds. However, inside these treats there rages a silent killer , that although will fill you with creamy, sugary ,buttery delight, in the long run they will clog your arteries, sap your energy, and yes, eventually kill you.

It is your choice to get nutrients or the sugar high, and in a few hours, you will need more negative sugar to make you feel good again.

We have the same choices with our thoughts. We can choose the immediate satisfaction of the sugar, or we can choose positive, enhancing thoughts that will keep us happy, functioning, and free from clogging our thought arteries.

Change your thoughts ,change your life. The choice always has been ours.

Cedar: I tried changing the beer that I drink one time. Didn't work.

Wow, here i try to do a blog with deep meaning, and all that I get is "beer". OK, GF, a little advice for you, my friend. When I say that we can choose from a lot of different things, it does not mean that you try all of the different beers on the same night.
